Emmi is 4!!

We can hardly believe it has already been 4 years since our baby girl was born. It seems like only a year ago we were in the hospital having her. When she woke up, we told her she could call all the shots of what she wanted to do. We went to Build A Bear, lunch at Paradise Bakery (what 4 year old would prefer that over ANY other place but she wanted to eat there) and came home and played hungry hippo a million times. We met Uncle Troy and Chad and Famous Daves for dinner (yes, that is what she requested for dinner) :P came home played Old Maid and watched a movie before bed. Busy, fun day!!

This is Valentine's Day night...movie night...Emmi wanted that heart blanket soooo bad...so that is one of her Valentine's day gifts...now it is her favorite blanket.

32 week Appointment

Went in today for my 32 week appointment. Everything still measuring good, passed my blood glucose, and baby's heart tones in 120's. My Dr. said she will be out of town over Easter so we will for sure be delivered by the time she leaves town :) It is hard to believe that in 8 weeks or less baby boy will be here. So WEIRD!! We start going in every 2 weeks until March and then weekly until delivery. Other than that, feeling good, gaining weight, and having lots of movement at all hours of the night.
29-32 Weeks (7th Month)
Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

More pics from Watertown...

Emmi and the cat.
Molly had ESD Gymnastics in Watertown so we stopped over to see her perform.
Gr. Les and Gr. Jill brought us to Guadalaraha's for Emmi's birthday dinner before going to the Arrow Boy's basketball game one of the nights...Emmi wasn't so sure about the employees all coming out with the sombrero...but she was a good sport and tried it on :)
Uncle Nick and Roshal came too :P

Watertown Jan. 2009

We made it back from Watertown and are tired but had a wonderful time. I told Josh, I am not sure the last time we went to Watertown where it was so quiet and relaxing. Just hung out and did NOTHING!! It was PERFECT!! Emmi and I went to the library one morning, celebrated her 4th birthday with both sets of grandparents/great grandparents, went to a few Arrow activities, and both got our hair done. Emmi really bonded with Lexie the cat while we were back. Emmi would manage to sneak up on Lexie while she was sleeping and pick her up and carry her through out the house :) She LOVED her (emmi loved the cat that is)!! The weather managed to hang out around 40 degrees while we were back too..not to bad since it was -30 a week before. It is nice to be back home and in our own routine again but we really enjoy our "girl vacations" too :) Who knows the next time we will be back in Watertown...or how much of a vacation it will be with a new little one. I told my parents prepare your cat..with a new crying baby and Emmi on her tail...she isn't going to like us sleeping over :) haha! Anyways, it was a GREAT time!!

Since Emmi had a double ear infection I told her she couldn't go outside and play until Friday (supposed to the warmest day). Every morning she woke up and asked if it was Friday yet..she was so excited and loved playing out in the snow...just not getting wet.
Already to head outside...
Emmi and "her cat". She kept telling me that daddy wanted her to bring the cat home to our house.
Emmi got lots of her own make-up and lip glosses for her birthday. We went to Watertown sharing a travel-on and ended up purchasing an overweight checked bag for the way home...we still had to leave the 4 pounds of make-up in Watertown for next time.
While Josh and I went to NY this fall, Emmi stayed in Watertown and found all my ballet costumes...it was one of the 1st things she asked for when we walked in the door.

1st night back...

Well, we made it to Watertown. After talking the whole way on the plane, Emmi finally fell asleep on the trip to Watertown. Gr Gay Gay was at home waiting for us with lots of food and toys. Emmi talked Gr and Gr into opening a few birthday presents tonight before her actual celebration. It was probably one of the funniest toys I have ever seen. Here are a few pictures.
